OCHKUR Oleksandr Vasyliovych – Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy of the National University of Pharmacy.

Born on January 25, 1986 in the village of Novooleksandrivka, Bilovodsky district, Luhansk region.
Graduated from the Stakhanov Medical School with a degree in Pharmacy (2005); National Pharmaceutical University with a degree in Pharmacy (2009); Master’s degree from the National University of Pharmacy with a degree in Pharmacy (2010); Postgraduate degree from the National University of Pharmacy (2013); Master’s degree from the National University of Pharmacy with a degree in Clinical Research (2023); specialization in Clinical Pharmacy (2024).
He worked as a pharmacist of the Central Administrative Organization No. 90 (Bilovodsk, Luhansk region) (2009-2010), a postgraduate student of the Department of Pharmacognosy (2010-2013), an assistant at the Department of Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Bromatology (2013-2014), an assistant at the Department of Pharmacognosy (2014-2019), an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy (2019-2023), an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Nutrition (2023-2024); from 2024 – an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy of the National University of Pharmacy.
Educational and methodological work. Conducts laboratory and practical classes in the disciplines “Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care”, “Pharmacotherapy with Pharmacokinetics” for foreign students with English as the language of instruction. Co-author of textbooks, lecture texts and laboratory journals for domestic and foreign students, including in English.
Scientific research. Phytochemical and phytopharmacological research of medicinal plant raw materials and non-pharmacopoeial plant species; creation and standardization of medicinal preparations of plant origin.
Defended his dissertation on the topic “Pharmacognostic research of species of the genus Artemisia L. of the flora of Ukraine” in 2014 (scientific supervisor – Dr. Pharm. Sci., Prof. A.M. Kovaleva).
Author and co-author of over 120 scientific papers, including over 30 articles in professional publications, 18 patents, articles for the “Pharmaceutical Encyclopedia”.
Public activities. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technologies (since 2014); Secretary of the Examination Commission (2015-2018); member of the trade union committee of the primary trade union organization of employees of the National University of Physics and Technology (since 2020).
